Active Testing, Built-In Confidence: CEI Expands Florida Product Approved Panel System Portfolio

At CEI Materials, we don't assume a system performs in demanding real-world conditions — we verify it. That's why our team continues to invest in rigorous performance testing, engineering, and technical validation across our architectural panel systems.

Building on our commitment to high-performance building envelope solutions, CEI Materials has achieved Florida Product Approval (FPA) across four architectural panel systems, expanding the options available to architects, contractors, and building owners designing for demanding environments.

Four Systems. Verified Performance.

Florida Product Approval has been achieved for the following CEI architectural panel systems:

R4000 1/8" Aluminum Plate Panel System — Completed high-wind load and impact-resistance testing, demonstrating performance under demanding structural and environmental conditions.

R4000 ACM Panel System — Completed high-wind load testing to verify structural performance under specified wind pressures.

Ultra Wave Panel — Completed high-wind load testing to verify performance for applicable building envelope applications.

CLADLOK™ Modular Panel System — Florida Product Approved, offering an additional architectural cladding solution backed by verified system performance.

Together, these systems represent CEI's continued investment in expanding its portfolio of tested architectural cladding solutions, providing design teams with greater flexibility when evaluating materials and systems for their projects.

What Florida Product Approval Means

Florida Product Approval (FPA) establishes that building products and systems have been evaluated against applicable requirements of the Florida Building Code.

For architectural cladding systems, the approval process involves performance testing, technical documentation, and evaluation of the system's ability to meet specified structural and environmental requirements.

For architects, consultants, contractors, and building owners, Florida Product Approval provides an important level of confidence when selecting building envelope systems for projects where performance and code compliance are critical.

Why This Matters to Project Teams

Every building presents unique design and performance considerations. Wind pressures, building height, geographic location, substrate conditions, attachment methods, and assembly configurations all influence system selection.

With four Florida Product Approved panel systems, CEI offers architects and contractors a broader range of tested solutions to consider when balancing architectural design intent with project-specific performance requirements.

But selecting the right panel system is only part of the equation.

For projects located within a High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), CEI encourages architects and project teams to contact their local CEI Sales Representative early in the design process.

Our team can collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to evaluate system options and develop an appropriate assembly that addresses the project's specific design requirements, performance criteria, and applicable building codes.

This collaborative approach helps project teams navigate complex building envelope requirements while maintaining design flexibility and constructability.

A Continued Commitment to Tested Performance

At CEI Materials, performance testing is not a one-time milestone. It's an ongoing investment in the systems our customers specify, the conditions those systems are designed to withstand, and the technical documentation that supports confident decision-making.

From early design-assist collaboration and system selection to precision fabrication, quality control, and installation support, CEI brings more than tested products to the table.

We bring the experience and technical expertise needed to help project teams move confidently from concept to completion.

More systems. More design flexibility. One commitment to verified performance.

As we continue advancing our architectural cladding solutions, CEI remains focused on delivering the performance, precision, and predictability our customers expect.
