CEI Materials Assists Architects In Hilton Worthy Of New England Patriots Fans

The Hilton Garden Inn Foxborough at Patriot Place is the exciting hotel owned and developed by XSS Hotels of Manchester. PROCON, also of Manchester, served as the hotel’s designers and general contractors. The project overlooks the home of the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium. Only one of two hotels at Patriot Place, Town Manager William Keegan Jr. describes, “This latest venture not only compliments their neighboring Renaissance (Hotel), but another quality hotel at this location will help further support and grow our regional economy.”
The hotel features the contemporary amenities expected of the brand Hilton with modern hotel suites, an indoor pool, and fitness, board and business room. The hotel also features a 24-hour market and large multi-functional space with access to the outdoor patio for events. A stone's throw from Patriot Place, visitors can enjoy shopping and entertainment in a 350-acre complex that sees roughly 20 million visitors a year
The hotel occupies 136 rooms and had a sold-out capacity when its doors opened in November of 2016. With the hotel’s proximity to the stadium, football fans are encouraged to stay. The hotel even offered special accommodations for Patriots fans for the remainder of the 2016 football season. PROCON CEO and Chairman, Mark Stebbins, explains, “The New England Patriots have proven themselves to be the best team in the NFL, and we wanted to build a hotel that would suit their home turf.”
The nearly 80,000 square foot hotel is a beautiful example of a shared wallspace exterior design. The façade features aluminum composite material, single skin panels and intricate stonework offering a contemporary aesthetic. CEI Materials, using the team’s W5000 Route & Return Silicone Joint Panel System, fabricated the metal components. The system’s non-progressive design offers installation versatility.
