Within the renovation, the architects improved existing spaces and provided new spaces as well with the addition of leasing and management offices. Major transformation of the interior living spaces was required to provide tenants with environmentally friendly flooring, upgraded kitchens and bathrooms.

The modern revamp involved the addition of luxury living accommodations to provide a more hotel-like experience. The architects designed a new fitness center, large entrance, new clubroom and outdoor community-based spaces with wet bar, lounge and fire pit.

The general contractors at HITT Contracting worked on the building’s major interior and exterior renovations which required the full demolition of the first floor. An abundance of areas on the exterior were overhauled with the removal and addition of over one thousand new windows and retrofit balconies.

To contrast the brick exterior façade, numerous metal composite elements were added. The metal components were fabricated by CEI Materials utilizing the team’s W5000 Route and Return Silicone Joint System. This popular system offers a weather tight economical assembly utilizing a closed cell backer rod, structural silicone joint and hidden fasteners. The non-progressive design offers installation versatility.
